Love Birds Cross Stitch Kit with Waste Canvas

A cross stitch design to use with waste canvas. Make a piece of clothing unique and stitch this design onto a jacket or anything else you want to upcycle! Stitch onto a medium weight, substantial fabric such as cotton twill, denim or canvas. Instructions on how to use waste canvas are included. The finished size of one bird design is approximately 16.5cmx12cm. The kit includes enough canvas and stranded cotton to complete two mirrored birds.

Included in the kit is:

*The charted design featuring a pair of love birds printed in colour on paper.

*2 pieces of waste canvas cut to the size you need

*6 skeins of Anchor stranded cotton. 4 Black, 2 mint pastel, 1 dusty pink.

*1 tapestry needle

Waste canvas is held together with glue and is intended to be stitched together with another fabric. Once you have finished stitching onto it, you wet the canvas and remove the strands leaving the stitched design and the fabric.

Stranded cotton is colour fast so the colour won't leak onto clothing.
