Love Bird - Instant Download Cross Stitch Pattern

This Love Bird cross stitch design is perfect for experimenting with waste canvas. You can stitch the design onto a piece of clothing or anything else you want to upcycle. 

Waste canvas is held together with glue and is intended to be stitched together with another fabric. Once you have finished stitching onto it, you wet the canvas and remove the strands leaving the stitched design and the fabric.

The sample photo is stitched using cross stitch with stranded cotton onto a denim jacket. The finished size of one bird design is approximately 16.5cmx12cm if stitched using 11hpi waste canvas.

Recommendations for stitching:

Use a colour fast thread such as Anchor stranded cotton.

Stitch onto a medium weight, substantial fabric such as cotton twill like denim or canvas.
